About Tetragen

In recent years our management team has built strong relationships with potential partners in the technology, finance and waste sectors. Our business philosophy is to own and operate renewable energy projects utilising skills in the UK and to be at the forefront of renewable technology advancements.

We aim to use local employment and companies wherever possible, so that we become an established partner within the communities where our facilities are located. With a range of skills and more than 30 combined years of renewable energy experience that lends itself to the whole lifecycle of renewable projects; this ensures that our sites operate to strict modern manufacturing principles and aim to be best-in-class in terms of environmental compliance.

We are progressing with the design and development of an Advanced Thermal Treatment facility at the Knapton Quarry Landfill Site in North Yorkshire. This would generate around 8MW (gross) electrical power for sale to the national grid as well as providing the opportunity for heat and power to be used by local businesses.
